School groups
Lumel Studios Hot Shop provides tours, demonstrations and workshops designed for secondary and elementary school groups. These programs introduce glass blowing history and techniques to foster visual literacy in students, encouraging them to find pleasure and meaning in art, and to think critically about the pursuit of art.

· Science lesson, artistic considerations and demo
· Two instructors
· One bench (half studio use)
Two hour
$250
· Science lesson and demo with a piece to keep (to be picked up the next day)
· The class can request either a replica of the school mascot, something drawn by a student, or glass blowers choice
· If a custom piece is requested, copies of the mascots or school drawings must be given at least three days in advance
· Two instructors
· One bench (half studio use)
Half-day A
(10 - 15 students)
$350
· Safety session, tour, and science lesson
· Hands on experience, one creation per person (to be picked up the next day)
· Two instructors
· Two benches (full studio use)
· Razzle-dazzle demonstration if time allows
· 2 - 3 hours
