Over the next 30 years Lu plans to work hard and play more. Lumel Studios is the perfect context for both of those pursuits.

Shanta

Shanta was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the Hindu Festival of Lights. She loves travelling, food, craft beer, and sarcasm. Shanta believes you should surround yourself with the inspired, the passionate, the motivated, the grateful and the open minded; and that kindness is badass.

At the age of 5, Shanta got sick in the middle of the night with the stomach flu. When her parents came in to support and clean, she pointed out the vomit’s beautiful patterning and how it matched the floral shapes on her bedspread. Finding beauty and positivity in anything has always come easily for her.
